大学公共英语是大学公共课程中的重点科目,大学公共英语教师作为高校英语教学和科研的主力军,对大学英语教学水平的发展具有重要作用。然而受到大学公共英语教师评价体系以及其他不利因素的影响,大学公共英语教师的专业发展一直处于尴尬地位。基于此,对大学公共英语教师的专业发展进行研究和讨论,并提出改进大学公共英语教师专业发展问题的方法和策略。
College public English is a key subject in university public courses. College public English teachers, as the main force of college English teaching and research, play an important role in the development of college English teaching. However, the professional development of the university’s public English teachers has been at a disadvantage due to the influence of the university public English teacher evaluation system and other unfavorable factors. Based on this, the professional development of university public English teachers is studied and discussed, and the methods and strategies to improve the professional development of university public English teachers are proposed.
