被告人邹石炎,男,45岁,大专文化,捕前系广东省英德县公安局副局长。1989年9月2日,因受贿罪被依法逮捕。被告人邹石炎自1983年以来,利用职务上的便利,在帮助办理农转非户口、出港居住和探亲手续以及其他事务的过程中,先后收受了17人及单位的贿赂,计人民币10450元、港币4900元,受贿物品价值5802.30元。英德县人民检察院在查处邹石炎案件中,同时还发现邹石炎有现金及储蓄存款72270元人民币、6400元港币和住房一栋(价值30486元人民币)。据查实,被告人邹石炎夫妻1981年
