蒙古语、英语亲属称谓之间存在一定的差异,本文以萨丕尔-沃尔夫假设为理论基础,对比分析蒙古语和英语称谓词的相同与不同。不同的亲属称谓系统决定语言使用者对亲属关系不同的认知方式,同时,不同的亲属称谓系统也反映出语言使用者对亲属关系独特的认知方式。本文分析两种语言中称谓词的不同,望有助于蒙古族英语学习者对英语文化,思想的理解,进而能更好地学习英语。
There are some differences between Mongolian and English kinship terms. Based on Sapir-Wolf’s hypothesis, this article compares and analyzes the similarities and differences between Mongolian and English appellations. Different kinship systems determine how different language users perceive kinship. At the same time, different kinship systems also reflect the unique ways in which language users perceive kinship. This paper analyzes the difference of appellations in the two languages, and hopes to help Mongolian English learners to understand English culture and thought, so as to better learn English.
