In order to maintain the long-term sustainable development of the arts, the Peking Opera Theater has formulated a five-year development plan that covers the three major projects of dissemination, talent and popularization. It will step up its efforts in personnel training and make a number of new Beijing opera come to the fore by means of cultivating outstanding young performers and continuously improving performances. At every weekend in March, the Peking Opera Theater will launch 9 performances in 22 plays and nearly 30 young performers.
