目前各种发动机用恒温器、风扇和百叶窗保持不同的最佳热况温度。风扇和百叶窗的自动控制问题尚未完全解决,最简单的方法是采用双位热调节器。这种热调节器由半导体元件组成,用于电源额定电压为24伏的汽车上。热调节器实际上可使所有各种发动机的冷却液温度保持在较大的范围内(60°～100℃)。在此范围内,用可变电阻调整风扇或百叶窗的开关。
