《中国青年报》12月3日报道:不久前被热炒的私人可购买苏州古建筑的政策已被紧急叫停,原因是它与新近通过的《中华人民共和国文物保护法》相抵触。江苏省九届人大常委会第32次会议通过了《苏州古建筑保护条例》。该条例中有多个条款鼓励非政府资金维修、置换、购买、资助苏州古建筑。据苏州市有关部门介绍,所谓“非政府资金”包括个人、企事业单位甚至境外资本。
The China Youth Daily reported on December 3: The recently speculative private purchase of ancient buildings in Suzhou has been temporarily halted because of its conflict with the newly adopted “PRC Cultural Relics Protection Law.” The 32nd meeting of the Standing Committee of the Ninth National People’s Congress of Jiangsu Province adopted the “Regulations for the Protection of Ancient Buildings in Suzhou.” There are a number of provisions in the ordinance that encourage non-government funds to repair, replace, purchase, and finance ancient buildings in Suzhou. According to the introduction of the relevant departments of Suzhou City, the so-called “non-government funds ” includes individuals, enterprises and institutions and even overseas capital.
