在20世纪上半叶,美国语言学发展取得飞速进展。一些大的语言学家及重要的语言学观点不断涌现,其中成就最大的、影响最深远的当属萨皮尔和布龙菲尔德两人。因此我们选择在总结萨皮尔语言学观点的基础上,通过对比萨皮尔与布龙菲尔德在语言学观点的差异上进一步学习与了解萨皮尔先生的语言学观点,并在此基础上提出我们对萨皮尔先生的一些重要的语言学观点上的见解。本文将从萨皮尔的生平、美国语言学的特点、萨丕尔与布龙菲尔德语言学观点的杜比及萨皮尔-沃尔夫假说分析等几大方面对萨皮尔先生的语言学观点做出自己的浅要分析与见解。
In the first half of the 20th century, rapid progress was made in the development of American linguistics. Some of the largest linguists and important linguistic perspectives continue to emerge, with the most successful and far-reaching of both Sapirn and Bloomfield. Therefore, on the basis of summing up Sapir’s linguistics perspective, we choose to further study and understand the linguistics perspective of Sapir on the differences between Sapir and Bloomfield’s linguistic perspectives, and on this basis, Some important linguistic point of view from Mr. Peir.
