在过去的半个多世纪,人类活动对生物多样性造成了前所未有的破坏。地球上的生物种类正在以相当于正常水平1 000倍的速度消失,现在是继6 500万年前恐龙灭绝后最大的一场生物多样性危机。
For more than half a century, human activities have caused unprecedented damage to biodiversity. The species of life on the planet are disappearing at a rate equivalent to 1 000 times normal and are now the largest biodiversity crisis ever since the extinction of dinosaurs 65 million years ago.
