《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》明确提出:高中英语课程应强调在进一步发展学生语言综合运用能力的基础上,着重提高学生用英语获得信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。从课标要求可以看出,高中英语教学应把阅读教学放在重要位置。事实上,近年来江苏高考英语试题中阅读理解量和难度不断增大,这些都要求在进行阅读教学时,要寻找新的教学方法,优化教学资源,培养和提高学生的阅读能 The Common Senior High School English Curriculum Criteria (Experiment) clearly states: Based on the further development of students’ comprehensive use of language ability, the high school English curriculum emphasizes the ability of students to obtain information, process information, analyze problems and solve problems in English. As can be seen from the curriculum standard requirements, high school English teaching should put reading teaching in an important position. In fact, reading comprehension and difficulty in the English Entrance Examination of Jiangsu college entrance examination have been increasing in recent years.
