1. How to estimate and record the brightness of the stars? (Depending on the magnitude) In textbooks, “stars with barely visible eyes” are defined as “stars of 6”, which means that the observation conditions are excellent. If the sky with light, smoke, dust, moonlight and other interference, increasing the brightness of the sky background, the naked eye can barely see the star is not 6, etc., and may be 5, etc., or 4 or so. In this case, the teacher should indicate to the student the grade of the brightest star and the rank of a barely visible dark star according to the apparent magnitude indicated in the star map so that when the student observes the brightness of other stars, Known bright star, dark star comparison, using the “interpolation” method to estimate magnitude.
