一千个人心中,就有一千个亚历山大大帝。顾名思义,这座城市之名来自亚历山大大帝。奇怪的是,在这座城市中却很难寻找亚历山大的真正踪影,甚至很多当地人会入乡随俗般地向外国游客介绍,说这是一座有关埃及艳后的城市,因为在这里她似乎比亚历山大大帝有名多了。还有我听见宣礼声的那座古遗址,叫庞贝之柱,因为十字军将士误以为庞贝的骨灰埋藏在此,故以“庞贝之名”命名。那么亚历山大大帝呢?也随着他曾在此建立起来的辉煌一时的亚历山大图书馆灰飞烟灭了吗?
In the heart of a thousand people, there are a thousand Alexander the Great. As the name suggests, the name of the city comes from Alexander the Great. Curiously, it’s hard to find the real trace of Alexandria in this city, and even many locals will follow suit and introduce foreign tourists, saying that this is a city about Cleopatra, because here she seems to be better than Alexander the Great More famous. And the ancient ruin that I heard the sound of the salute, called Pompeii, was named after the name “Pompeii,” as the Crusaders mistook it for the ashes of Pompeii.
