由于社会经济和城市建设的高速发展,对目前的环境、空气等都造成了一定程度的污染和破坏,为了弥补造成的损失,我们又引进了“生态”的概念。目前,各个城市都在加快脚步建设生态城市,尤其是一些大城市早就走在了生态的前列,就像仇保兴所说的“几乎所有的城市都提出了生态化的城市发展道路,没有任何一种城市发展战略像生态化城市发展战略这样存在如此普遍的共识,生态城市发展战略必然是中国城市未来的发展模式”。但是生态城市究竟是一个什么样的概念,一个什么样的城市?生态城市发展的道路到底该怎样走呢?在本文中我们通过对生态城指标体系的研究可以进一步指导生态城的规划、设计、建设和管理,从而实现其整体愿景,即成为响誉世界的“以人为本、社会进步、经济繁荣、气候中性、环境可持续发展”的新面貌。
