在检定工作中,不同专业对数据末位数的修约也不同。数据末位数处理通常有3种情况:末位是1的整数倍,即0~9中的任何数;是2的整数倍,即0~8中的任何偶数;是5的整数倍,即0或5。本文对末位为2或5的进行说明。图1为末位为1、2与5的修约图,化整间距取a×10n,如果检定得到的最终结果不恰好是1×10n、2×10n、5×10n的时候,则按图向最靠近的数据选取其化整间距。当被修约的数与上下两个允许修约值的间隔相等时,分3种情况:
