科技示范户王吉刚种植草莓的温室为“7315”型日光温室,面积441米~2,除走道外,实栽草莓面积409.5米~2。1997～1998年度产量达3623公斤,产值19869元;1998～1999年度产量达4108公斤,产值22212元。品种采用适宜温室栽培的大果型品种新星二号。种植密度采用大行距40厘米,小行距30厘米,平均行距为35厘米,株距12厘米。每亩种植15800株。1998年7月16日分苗,8月23日定植,定植标准4叶1心。10月25日扣棚,11月1日覆盖地膜。12月12日开始收获,1999年5月28日收完。
