山东省招远县农牧局在1976年果树选种时,从当地杏树资源中发现一个果大、晚热,甜仁,适于鲜食、加工、仁用的优良品种——红金榛。其母树为偶然实生,42年生,1976年入选以来,经过连续13年观察、繁殖,证明该品种抗旱,耐瘠,受晚霜危害较轻,完全花多,结果较早,丰产稳产。红金榛杏树势中庸、强健、树姿开张。1～2年生枝绿底紫红色,多年生枝暗红色。在活土层仅60cm左右的山地,2年生幼树高可达1.7m,冠径2.20～2.50m;10年生树高可达6～6m,冠径5.2
