1986年3月7至17日,在中国金属学会冶金地质学会矿床专业委员令贵金属组的组织下,对广西东部的桃花、古袍、六岑三座金矿山进行了野外地质考察和现场技术会诊活动。参加活动的有冶金地质系统、武警黄金部队和部分有色公司系统的科研、教学和生产部门的14个单位42名代表。学术委员会委员和有关专家、教授朱奉三、孙书山、杨连生等主持,徐恩寿、李静仁、王有志、舒全安、胡伦积、周明宝、范永香和广西黄金公司正副经理邵士杰、黄永星等参加了活动。
