在滇西地区,挟持于鲁甸深断裂(金沙江深断裂俯冲带)和通甸深断裂(弥沙河断裂)之间的兰坪三岔河火山岩系(图1),由于它的含矿性和呈北北西向长条形分布巳,引起地质界的重视。在进行1∶20万维西幅地质调查过程中,笔者参与该地的地质填图和实测了三岔河火山岩剖面。本文试图通过剖面的介绍,根据岩石化学及地质特征,对火山岩系的构造背景作一讨论,为了促进基础地质的研究並以期对火山岩有关的矿产引起足够的重视。
