In this study, the authors amplified the SIVmac239Gag sequence from Hela cells of Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV) Gag Vab T2 52-51 recombinant vaccinia virus (SIV) vaccinia virus SIV Gag and designed this sequence as Five different Gag gene segments (SIV Gag no. 1-5) were inserted into the non-coding NA gene of the chimeric influenza (WSN) virus by Nhe and Hpa restriction enzyme cleavage sites
