The dynamic time-varying model of glutamic acid fermentation including the concentration of cell X, the concentration of substrate S, the concentration of product P and the state variable of exhaust carbon dioxide is proposed. Based on this model, this paper also presents a method for online forecasting of some biochemical state variables that can not be measured online
