In 1974, we used self-anchored post-tensioned low carbon steel wire to stress concrete process in Jinshui River Bridge in Zhengzhou City. Its design, construction and monolithic beam loading tests have been summarized in the article “Central South Highway Engineering”, 1975, No. 3, “Heat Treatment of Cold-Drawn Low Carbon Steel Wires and Beam Self-anchoring Processes in Prestressed Bridges of Highways”. The bridge is a city wide bridge, the upper structure consists of 15 with T-shaped beam in the diaphragm. Calculate the span of 12.5 meters, 32 meters wide bridge. In order to understand the mechanical properties and characteristics of the bridge, a prototype static load test was carried out.
