Schwannomas often express glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and broad-spectrum keratin (AE1 / AE3, pankeratins), while the expression of single-lineage keratin in schwannomas has not been reported. The authors observed the phenomenon of retroperitoneal schwannoma CK expression.
