在古都亳州,李兴民是一个妇孺皆知的人物。身为地方官员、人民公仆,他 也曾数十次把行贿人拒之门外。可是,他没有守住廉洁的底线,没有筑牢拒腐的防线,终 于在拒贿-受贿-索贿的三部曲中站到了法院的被告席上。日益膨胀的私欲和野心,把他 推上了在当地炙手可热的巅峰,也把他推下了万悔不及的地狱。2004年10月22日,名噪一 时的亳州市(县级)市委书记李兴民被依法判处有期徒刑12年。 李兴民一案,带有典型性,也带有普遍性。从他一步一步走向深渊的过程,我们可以 看到,一个党员干部尤其是领导干部,加强思想道德修养,保持共产党员先进性,是一个 多么重要多么紧迫的任务。
