一部《朱子家训》流传甚广,而对毛泽东祖辈的家训家诫,世人却知之不多。在毛氏家族中,有一本《韶山毛氏家训家诫》在本族中世代相传,颇值得人们借鉴和效仿。韶山毛氏家训有十则:一、培植心田。一生吃着不尽,只是半点心田,摸摸此处实无愆,到处有人称羡。不看欺瞒等辈,将来堕海沉渊,吃斋念佛也徒然,心好便膺帝眷。二、品行端正。从来人有三品,持身端正为良。弄文侮法有何长,但见天良丧尽。居心无少邪曲,行事没有乖张,光明俊伟子孙昌,莫作蛇神伎俩。三、孝养父母。终身所答不尽,惟尔父母之恩。亲意欣欣子色温,便见一家孝顺。鸟雏尚知报本,人子应含逮存。
