土鳖虫(Eupolyphaga sinensis),另4名地鳖虫、(庶虫)虫、中华地鳖,属鳖蠊科。它是我国民间传统使用的一种中药,有悠久应用历史,药用干燥雌虫体。临床疗效可靠,广用于各种淤血症,如经闭、腹痛、腰痛、乳汁不下、骨折、跌打损伤、慢性肝炎等。它具有活血化瘀、攻坚破积、通经止痛的功效,据文献报道还具有抗肿瘤作用。
Eupolyphaga sinensis, the other 4 maggots, (aphid) worms, and Chinese ardea, belong to the family Polygonaceae. It is a traditional Chinese medicine used in our country’s folk traditions, has a long history of application, medicinal dry female body.
