清華大學自七月初起,進行了速成俄文閱讀學習的試驗,第一次一人,第二次十一人,先後在二十餘天一百五十到一百八十小時的集中突擊學習中,收到能獨立閱讀工程書籍的效果。自八月二十日起,全校教師二百三十八人集中力量,突擊俄文,經過短短十九天,在九十小時的課堂教學和自習時間中(外加四十五小時左右的課外複習),百分之九十的學員都從不識俄文字母或學過少許的原有基礎上,提高到能獨立閱讀工程書籍的程度,學習效果極為顯著。現將情况初步總結報告如下:
