1996年12月8日,国家“八五”计划工程——黄河大峡水电站首台7.5万千瓦水轮发电机组正式发电。强大的电流满载着建设者的喜悦,汇入了共和国跳动不息的脉搏。大峡电站较国家审定工期提前半年投产发电,可多发电量1.5亿千瓦时,开创了我国水电站建设速度快、质量好、效益高的新局面。大峡工程是黄河小三峡(小峡、大峡、乌金峡)工程的“龙头”工程,位于我省兰州市和白银市交界处的黄河西峡口,距兰州市65公里,距白银市35公里,是黄河龙羊峡至青铜峡河段梯级规划的第十一个梯级。电站安装4台轴流式水轮发电机组,总装机容量300兆瓦,年平均发电量14.65亿千瓦时,保证出力143兆瓦,年设备利用小时数为4,880时,电站
December 8, 1996, the state “85 ” project - the Yellow River Daxia Hydropower Station’s first 75,000 kilowatts hydro-generating set formally. Powerful currents filled the builders’ joy and brought in the pulse of the Republic. Daxia Hydropower Station put into operation more than half a year earlier than the national approval period, generating 150 million kilowatt hours of electricity. This created a new situation in hydropower station construction in China with high speed, good quality and high efficiency. The Daxia Project is located in the Yellow River Xixia mouth of the Yellow River at the junction of Lanzhou and Baiyin in the Yellow River, 65 kilometers away from Lanzhou City and 35 minutes away from Baiyin City Km, is the first step of the Yellow River Longyangxia to Qingtongxia River cascade plan. Four axial turbine generator sets are installed in the power station with a total installed capacity of 300 MW and an average annual generating capacity of 1.455 billion kWh with a guaranteed power output of 143 MW and annual equipment utilization hours of 4,880 hours.
