江泽民同志指出:“科学知识、科学思想、科学方法和科学精神,可以引导人们奋发图强,积极向上。”并特别强调:弘扬科学精神更带根本性和基础性。科学界要大力弘扬科学精神,各条战线、各个部门都要大力弘扬科学精神。要使实事求是、探索求知、崇尚真理、勇于创新的精神在全党全社会大大发扬起来。这说明,加强和创新思想政治工作,必须提倡科学思想和科学方法,弘扬科学精神,加大科学含量,努力探索创新市场经济条件下思想政治工作的规律和办法,真正达到科学性和艺术性的高度统一。
