偉大的中國共產党和毛主席領導中國人民革命取得了光辉的胜利,開闢了中國歷史新紀元,締造了中華人民共和國,經五年來繼續的奮鬥,已为祖國逐步過渡到社會主義社會準備了必要的條件。為了更具體地保證社會主義社會的建成,在共同綱領的基礎上,制訂了中華人民共和國憲法草案,為全國人民作出了全面的、根本的規劃,使全國人民得準此向幸福的園地前進。
The great Chinese Communist Party and Chairman Mao have led the Chinese people’s revolution with glorious victories, opened up a new era in Chinese history and created the People’s Republic of China. After five years of continued struggles, they have prepared the necessary conditions for the gradual transition of the motherland to a socialist society . In order to more concretely guarantee the completion of a socialist society, the draft constitution of the People’s Republic of China was formulated on the basis of a common program, so as to make a comprehensive and fundamental plan for the people of the entire country so that the entire Chinese people may be allowed to march forward to a happy field.
