2004年10月26日,应美国国家武术总会会长吴廷贵邀请,我和先生--陈氏十九世、陈式太极拳第十一代嫡宗传人陈正雷结伴,由北京机场出发,飞往大洋彼岸的美国,开始了我们为期两个多月的太极传情文化交流活动。当地时间10月26日晚上9点,我们乘坐的中国东方航空公司航班平稳地降落在休斯顿国际机场。在机场迎候的三瑞国际公司总裁Alex等几十位美国朋友,手举“热烈欢迎国际太极拳大师陈正雷访问美国”等横幅,给我们送来了一束束争奇斗艳的鲜花。前来迎接的众多不同肤色的朋友当中,有认识的,有不认识的,很多是从报纸和电台等媒体的报道中得知我们到来的消息后,自发而来的。大家你簇我拥,就像是分别了多年的朋友终于见面一样,激动、热情。
On October 26, 2004, at the invitation of Wu Tinggui, president of the National Wushu Association of the United States, my husband and I - Chen XIX, Chen style tai chi eleventh generation Zong Zong Chen Zhenglei came together from Beijing airport to fly to The United States on the other side of the Pacific started our tai chi factional cultural exchange activities for more than two months. Local time on October 26 at 9 o’clock in the evening, we take a flight of China Eastern Airlines smooth landing at Houston International Airport. Dozens of U.S. friends, Alex, president of San Rui International, who is waiting at the airport, hand in hand “a warm welcome to Chen Zhenglei, an international Taiji master, to visit the United States,” and other banners sent us a bunch of spectacular flowers. Among the many friends of different color who come to meet, many who know or who do not know, spontaneously come from news of newspapers and radio stations that we have come. Everyone in my cluster, like the friends who have been separated for many years finally met, excited and passionate.
