On November 17, 2007, the Second National Science Education Forum for Primary and Secondary Schools was opened in Beijing. The relevant leaders of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Central Institute of Educational Sciences and other relevant ministries and the heads of the education bureaus of the cities (counties) across the country, the heads of teaching and research offices, and experimental bases and universities are engaged in scientific education research and teaching.
