中国政府除非大力投资在教育和研究开发上,否则拉美化危机是有可能出现的据中国海关总署近期公布的数据显示,2005年上半年内地贸易顺差近400亿(美元,下同)、已经超过了去年全年的320 亿元;美国商务部公布五月份的贸易数字,其中对华贸易赤字扩大至158亿元, 为美国整体贸易赤字的29%。种种迹象显示,中国虽然放宽了入口限制,容许更多外国货进入,但内地的出口能力仍然十分惊人,世界工厂的地位岿然不动,为国家创造了巨额外汇。
Unless the Chinese government invests heavily in education and research and development, the Latin American crisis is likely to occur. According to recent data released by China’s General Administration of Customs, the trade surplus of the Mainland in the first half of 2005 was nearly 40 billion U.S. dollars Surpassing the 32 billion yuan last year. The U.S. Commerce Department released the trade figures for May. The trade deficit with China expanded to 15.8 billion yuan, accounting for 29% of the U.S. trade deficit. There are indications that while China has relaxed its import restrictions and allowed more foreign goods to enter, the export capacity of the Mainland is still staggering. The position of the world’s factories remains unobstructed, creating huge foreign exchange for the country.
