印度南部城市班加罗尔的医院推出了一种名为“电子空间探视”的新式探视方法,为探望病人提供了便利,让患者和家属都得到了极大安慰。电子空间探视实质上就是通过互联网实现的探视。正在住院的病人可以通过安装在电脑上的视听设备,用网络摄像头把自己的住院情况传入因特网。视音频信号一旦上传成功,病人的亲属将收到电子邮件,获得收看口令,开始“探视”。
The hospital in Bangalore, a city in southern India, has introduced a new type of visiting method called “electronic space visits,” which provides convenience for visiting patients and greatly comforts both patients and their families. Electronic space visits are essentially visits through the Internet. The patient who is being admitted to the hospital can use the webcam to access his or her hospitalization through the audio-visual equipment installed on the computer. Once the video and audio signals have been successfully uploaded, the patient’s relatives will receive an e-mail, receive a viewing password, and start to visit.
