用物探方法研究了山西应县木塔西北侧的断层状况及塔院区地层的分布状态、地下水流向、地层承载力等。物探结果显示，木塔西北侧存在着现今活动的断层。
The geophysical method was used to study the fault status and the stratigraphic distribution, groundwater flow and strata bearing capacity in the northwestern side of Moxian Moxi, Shanxi Province. Geophysical results show that there is a fault of today's activity on the northwestern side of the Muta.
