1862年,威廉·亨利·布拉格出生在英格兰西部坎伯兰的一个贫苦家庭,父母靠节衣缩食才让他勉强读完小学和中学。布拉格小时候就非常懂事,深知自己每一份学费里都渗透着父母的汗水。平时,布拉格从来不讲究穿戴,不和同学攀比。但是他在学习上却非常刻苦认真,再加上聪颖的天资,学习成绩一直十分优异。
In 1862, William Henry Prague was born to a poor family in Cumberland, western England, where parents were reluctantly forced to finish primary and secondary schools. Prague was very sensible when he was a child, knowing that every one of his tuition fees was infiltrated by his parents’ sweat. Usually, Prague never pay attention to wear, not comparisons with classmates. However, he is very hard-working on his studies. Coupled with the bright talents, his academic performance has always been outstanding.
