多瑜伽师愿意把双人流瑜珈称为“两性瑜伽”或者“爱侣瑜伽”。因为它通过融合,相依、对持等的力量方式让两性间变得更加和谐,在这种瑜伽理念中,主体是两性,增加的是情趣和迷离。而真正意义上的双人流瑜伽,是可以打破两性前提的,无论对方是同性或者异性,两个人都可以通过这种方式来尝试双人流瑜珈。借力、拆力、力量的等量交换,是双人流瑜伽的中心,它可以通过对方的外力,来达到自己本身不可能完成的体位式。无论哪种瑜珈,我们都要保持身体的上下贯通。让我们的呼吸调和,保持一份平静。双人瑜伽更是如此。只有两个人内心保持平和,呼吸平稳。保持充分的安静,用内心去感受由对方传来的呼吸和磁场。双人对坐时,尽量抛却掉一切杂念。
Multi-yogis are willing to refer to double-flow yoga as “Sex Yoga ” or “Love Yoga ”.
