研究了纳米Y_2O_3—Al_2O_3在烧结时形成液相YAG(yttrium-alurninum garnet)对SiC纤维烧结特性的影响。实验结果表明,液相YAG的形成可以有效地提高SiC纤维的密度,在较低的烧结温度下达到完全致密,同时使纤维的强度由168MPa提高到844MPa。当烧结温度高于1800℃时,纤维中各组份间发生化学反应,产生的气体逸出后,在纤维组织中留下孔隙,使纤维强度降低。
The effect of yttrium-alurninum garnet (YAG) on the sintering behavior of SiC fibers during sintering was investigated. The experimental results show that the formation of liquid YAG can effectively increase the density of SiC fibers, achieve complete densification at lower sintering temperatures, and increase the strength of fibers from 168 MPa to 844 MPa. When the sintering temperature is higher than 1800 ℃, the chemical reaction occurs between the components in the fiber, the gas evolved, leaving pores in the fiber structure, the fiber strength decreased.
