军人社会保险,是指国家通过立法,为军人由于年老、疾病、伤亡、生育等原因永久丧失劳动能力或暂时不能参加劳动时提供物质帮助的制度,包括离退休养老保险、疾病保险、战伤阵亡保险、生育保险等。军人社会保险是社会化大生产的产物,是解除军人后顾之忧,保持部队高度稳定的重要的制度保证。因此,深入探讨军人社会保险问题,并努力作好这项工作,对于稳定部队、促进部队建设有积极的作用。
