作者自评:凡书画皆借形以写意,此帧水墨山水是余游蜀地时见峨眉之雄秀、青城之深幽,一时胸中顿起江山如画之慨,乘兴而作。通篇以行、草笔法长线书写。实处以虚(如滩岸江水)虚处以实(如船影远峰)。笔墨灵动古秀,润含春雨,干裂秋风。如此巨幅(340cm×150cm)写成却宛若小品凝练空灵,实属不易。
