关于新闻摄影的艺术性问题,是个老问题了,不少同志都已谈过,而且在理论上作了阐述,似乎这已经是不成问题的了。然而在实际上,或者说在实践中,却又产生不少问题,引起了讨论乃至争论。争论的要点之一是:新闻摄影要不要讲究艺术性?实质是说新闻摄影具不具有审美价值?对此有两种基本的看法,一是肯定,一是否定。持否定态度的主要说法是:1、新闻摄影姓“新”,艺术摄影姓“艺”,两者“不搭界”。2、新闻摄影主要为了报道新闻,强调的是它的新闻价值,不必去追求什么艺术性或审美价值。3、新闻摄影只能纪实,不能虚构,因此不是艺术,也无所谓什么艺术性。4、新闻摄影如果强调艺术性,容易导致形式主义,甚至导致弄虚作假。持肯定态度的主要说法是:
