1951年,以王谦为书记的中共长治地委,遵循山西省委关于“把老区的互助组织提高一步”的指导方针,成功领导试办了半社会主义性质的初级农业生产合作社。由此,新中国农业社会主义改造迈出了关键性的第一步,拉开了农业合作化运动的序幕。上世纪90年代末,我们专门就试办初级农业生产合作社的问题,特地访问了已年过八旬的原山西省省长、中共山西省委第一书记、中顾委委员王谦。
In 1951, the CPC Changzhi District Committee, with Wang Qian as secretary, followed the guidelines of Shanxi Provincial Party Committee on “improving the mutual aid organizations in the old areas by one step” and successfully led the pilot trial of semi-socialist primary agricultural cooperatives. As a result, the new socialist transformation of China’s agricultural economy has taken a crucial first step and opened the prelude to the agricultural cooperative movement. In the late 1990s, when we specialized in piloting primary agricultural cooperatives, we specially visited the former provincial governor of Shanxi Province, Wang Qian, the first secretary of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and member of the Central Advisory Committee of the CPC.
