脑血管闭塞导致缺血性卒中,随之微血管增生。此过程在脑缺血区的边缘即半影区尤为显著。血管生成因子在此过程中起重要作用,TGF-β1就是一种强效血管生成因子。作者检测了脑卒中患者脑标本中TGF-β1mRNA的表达,讨论了TGF-β1在血管生成发病机制中的重要作用及其临床应用价值。
Cerebrovascular occlusion leads to ischemic stroke followed by microvascular hyperplasia. This process is particularly pronounced at the penumbra, the border of the ischemic area. Angiogenesis plays an important role in this process. TGF-β1 is a potent angiogenic factor. The authors examined the expression of TGF-β1 mRNA in brain samples of stroke patients and discussed the important role of TGF-β1 in the pathogenesis of angiogenesis and its clinical value.
