Southwest University, one of the “Project 211” universities of China, was built by combining Southwest China Normal University and Southwest Agricultural University authorized by the Ministry of Education in July 2005. College of Engineering and Technology (CET) was founded in 1958. Her precursor is Department of Agricultural Mechanization of Southwest Agricultural College. Through the development and improvement for half a century, the college has already possessed capacity of educating and training the doctors, masters, undergraduates and professional students. She has relatively strong capability with special characteristics in research areas of Agricultural Mechanization Engineering, Agricultural Biological Environment, Machinery Design and Manufacturing, Protected Agriculture, Vehicle Engineering, Agricultural Electrification and Automation, Circuits and Systems, Intelligent Measurement and Control.u001a
