儒墨两家作为先秦时期的两大显学,在春秋战国时期的政治舞台上大放异彩,由于自身的特点既有联系又鲜明对立,在诸子百家中特色鲜明。虽然儒墨两家广收门徒,积极游说于各国宣传自家的政治主张,但是就其阶级归属问题来看,两家的流派构成和阶层归属有着明显的区别。《左传?成公十三年》曾言“国之大事,在祀与戎”反映了先秦时期上至统治者,下至普通百姓,对待祭祀和战争的重视,先民对于先祖和鬼神的态度趋于一致——心怀敬畏并定期祭祀,作为先秦时期的两大显学,二者对待鬼神有着截然相反的态度。
As two significant schools of pre-Qin period, Confucianism and Mohist School shone radically on the political arena of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.
