Sweet potato is one of the important grain crops in our country, its area and total output rank first in the world. In order to further improve the level of research and production of sweet potato in China, we carried out the research on the culture and propagation of sweetpotato meristem in vitro. The results showed that once the regenerated shoots of sweetpotato shoot tip meristem were successful, they could easily propagate. Whether the tissue culture tube was micropropagated or transplanted into the greenhouse, its seedling rate was very high and its crude growth was similar to that of the field seedlings . This provided the basis for the conservation, exchange and production promotion of the shoot apical meristem of sweet potato.
