The alpine glacier in the Hami region is the birthplace of most of the larger rivers in the region. Alpine glaciers, snow melt and mountain precipitation together constitute the three major recharge sources of surface water and groundwater runoff in Hami area. However, with the regional climate warming, there is a great change in the runoff of various types of rivers: floods without recharge of glacier melt water, and disproportion of dry water discharge, and annual runoff decrease in recent years; The change of runoff is obvious. Among them, there are not many glaciers in Heyuan, and annual runoff of rivers with small individual area increased before 2000, which has a tendency of slowing down in recent years. However, the increasing trend of more rivers with larger area of Heyuan glaciers continues The results of the analysis can be used as a reference for relevant departments on the impact of climate change on runoff from the Hami River.
