在一般的文学鉴赏中,人们常常讲究窥一斑而知全豹,反对断章取义,因为断章取义只是截取文章中的一段孤立地加以理解,这种理解往往会与原意不相符合,甚至是截然相反,容易造成误解。事实上,断章取义也不一定完全是坏事,有时利用这种方法反而能从悲观中看出乐观,从消极中找到积极的因素,对语文版九年级语文中《秋水(节选)》的寓意理解便是如此。
