Reasonable construction measures are very important for ensuring the safe use of buildings. This article focuses on several issues in the construction of lightweight aggregate concrete and reinforced lightweight aggregate concrete structures based on experimental research results and engineering practices. First, lightweight aggregate concrete and reinforced concrete lightweight aggregate concrete expansion joints. China’s “Code for Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures” TJ10-74 believes that the spacing of expansion joints for general building structures may not consider temperature zones. The temperature difference is 25°C. Various structural expansion joint spacings have been established. The necessary structural measures were put forward. When compiling the “Design Regulations for Reinforced Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Structures” (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations”), we have adopted the “TJ10-74” normative principle and considered the light aggregate concrete and reinforced lightweight aggregate concrete.
