2016年5月26日,龙美术馆(重庆馆)正式开馆,并由王薇女士担任馆长及总策展人。这是龙美术馆在上海先后建立浦东馆和西岸馆之后,首次将事业版图扩展至西南地区。龙美术馆(重庆馆)落址于重庆直辖市江北区国华金融中心双子座一至三层,占地面积约一万二千平方米,共设有三个展厅,分别聚焦中国传统、革命主题绘画及当代艺术。主展厅采用跃层展厅结构,挑高七米。坐落于商务楼中的龙美术馆(重庆馆)将打破艺术场馆与商务楼宇之间的壁垒,让艺术走进日常的工作和生活,特设学术报告厅和儿童教育空间、阅览室及多功能厅。
On May 26, 2016, the Dragon Art Museum (Chongqing Museum) was officially opened and Ms. Wang Wei was the curator and curator. This is the first time that the Dragon Art Museum expanded its business map to the southwest after establishing the Pudong Pavilion and the West Bank Pavilion in Shanghai. The Dragon Art Museum (Chongqing Museum) is located at the first to third floors of Gemini, Guohua Financial Center, Jiangbei District, Chongqing Municipality. It covers an area of about 12,000 square meters and has three exhibition halls, focusing on Chinese tradition, revolutionary thematic painting and contemporary art. The main exhibition hall using the jump hall structure, pick up seven meters high. The Dragon Art Museum (Chongqing Museum), located in the Commercial Building, will break the barriers between art venues and commercial buildings, bringing art into everyday work and life, ad hoc auditoriums and children’s educational spaces, reading rooms and multi-function hall.
