周信芳老院长被“四人帮”迫害致死后,我默默吟成几句诗,其中最后的两句为“我亦添君罗织累,十年风雪压‘澶城’”。这个“澶城”,就是指我写的、老院长主演的那个《澶渊之盟》。“浩劫”一开始,它就把我和老院长“瓜蔓”到一起了。它和《海瑞上疏》一道,同列为为彭老总翻案的大毒草。每次批斗会,栽们总是离不了饱听一顿呵斥和打倒的叫喊声。每一次看到老院长为这个剧本而受累时,总不禁为之心碎。《澶渊之盟》是老院长最后演出的一个新剧目,可以说是他的“获麟”之笔。
