由中国金属学会主办的1989年北京国际轧钢会议暨国际轧钢技术展览会于1989年4月10～15日在北京民族饭店召开。这是第一次在中国召开的国际轧钢会议。会议得到巴西金属学会、法国钢铁协会和日本钢铁学会的赞助,并得到世界各国同行的积极支持。有来自28个国家和地区的近300名代表参加了这次会议,其中外国代表105名,在会上共发表了学术论文109篇,其中国外论文78 The 1989 Beijing International Rolling Conference and International Rolling Technology Exhibition, hosted by China Metallurgical Society, was held at Beijing National Hotel on April 10-15, 1989. This is the first international rolling meeting in China. The conference was sponsored by the Brazilian Society of Metals, the French Iron and Steel Institute and the Japan Institute of Steel and received active support from colleagues from all over the world. Nearly 300 delegates from 28 countries and regions attended the conference, including 105 foreign delegates. A total of 109 academic papers were published at the conference, among which 78 were foreign papers
